Sabrina Carpenter was born on May 11, 1999 in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, U.S.. She made her acting debut in 2011 when she guest starred in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She then worked as a voice actress for Phineas and Ferb and Sofia the First. She got her breakthrough after landing the role of Maya Hart on the TV series Girl Meets World.
As a movie actress, she has appeared in the films Noobz and Horns. She has recently starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie Adventures in Babysitting. She has also pursued a career in music where she was signed with Hollywood Records. She released her first EP titled Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying in 2014.
